I imagine you have a domain name. You know your site url for the ftp transfer right ? A hosted web page always responds to 'index.htm' or 'home.htm' when you type the web address. So if the address is www.mycoolsite.com, the minutes someone types that, it goes to: www.mycoolsite.com/index.html or home.html Design you own site with html or templates and transfer the new one to your site hosting your files. Be aware that changing your main page will disrupt all the links on the web site unless you duplicate the ones currently being used. Sarge
